Arriving At Thriving: New report on disabled students' experiences

A new report has been published setting out lessons for the government and Higher Education leaders from the experiences of disabled students: Arriving At Thriving: Learning from disabled students to ensure access for all (PDF)

Its publication is the result of a six-month inquiry which listened closely to over 500 disabled students, as well as senior figures at a number of Universities and charity representatives across the UK.

The report shows that there is clear room for improvement within the HE sector, and makes 12 recommendations to ensure that the experiences of disabled students can be improved.

You can read a summary of the report's key points in this Wonkhe article by Chris Skidmore, and hear more about its content this Wonkhe podcast which features CU's Ian Dunn.
