Staff interested in this category may be:
Early Career researchers, Graduate Teaching Assistants, HPLs, Staff supporting learning, Demonstrators, Lab technicians, Professional Services staff with limited teaching (e.g. Those running training sessions or assisting the module leader).
As a rough guide you will really need to have been teaching in Higher Education on a regular basis for more than six months to be able to evidence Associate Fellow.
Descriptor D1 - Associate Fellow
D1 is suitable for individuals whose practice enables them to evidence some Dimensions. Effectiveness of practice in teaching and/or support of learning is demonstrated.
Associate Fellowship is the appropriate category of fellowship to professionally recognise individuals from a wide variety of different contexts whose higher education teaching and/or support for learning practice enables them to evidence some of the PSF 2023 Dimensions.
