The University monitors students' attendance at classes. Please ensure all students use their cards at your teaching/learning session to tap into the "Touchpoint" monitoring point in the room.
We monitor attendanced for three main reasons:
- to ensure maximum completion of all students;
- to ensure attendance of TIER 4 (overseas) students in order to safeguard the University’s UKVI licence;
- to monitor the attendance of any sponsored students in order to safeguard our income from sponsors.
Attendance data can be accessed via the attendance menu in Sonic (a CU online tool).
