Staff Conference 2018- Celebrating 175 years of Excellence- the Coventry Way

Day 2 of the conference commenced with a keynote lecture by Nick Worthington, Chris Winter, Kim Craig Kirsty McAlliser and Andrew Turner. The topic of discussion was ‘transforming higher education with CU Online’; here the focus was to promote innovative learning technologies to international learner. Their motto is ‘Think Fast, Learn Smart, Get Online’. The keynote lecture was followed by workshops run throughout the various faculties exhibiting their past and current position at Coventry University. The 2-day conference seemed to be successful with a turnout of over 500 people on both days. The Graffiti Wall provided space to share attendees’ thoughts regarding the conference and the ‘Coventry Way’. In fact, the organising team received positive feedback from attendees following the conference. The event as a whole magnificently celebrated 175 Years of Excellence, the Coventry Way.
